Hot Foil Printing

At Harkwell, we specialise in helping brands elevate their packaging and promotional materials to new heights with our hot foil printing services. Our hot foiling brings a touch of luxury and sophistication to your products, making them stand out in a competitive market.

What Is Hot Foiling?

Hot foil printing is when you apply a metallic or coloured sheen to your product, instantly enhancing its visual appeal. Using heat and pressure, we embed the foil onto your product, this activates a glue on the back of the foil. At Harkwell, we can offer an array of foil colours to be able to allow your packaging and products to show your brand identity.

Benefits of hot foil printing?

Stand Out: Hot foil printing makes your product labels eye-catching. Whether you add a subtle accent or have a bold statement, foiling adds that extra touch to set your brand apart from the competition.

Premium branding: A sliver of foiling on your product labeling adds a luxurious touch, elevating the perceived quality and value of your brand.

Highlight key details: Foiling draws attention to specific elements of your design, such as your logo, contact details, or background pattern, which can ensure that important information doesn’t go unnoticed.

Best ways to use hot foiling on your product labeling

Hot foiling is incredibly versatile and can be added to any section of your design. Commonly, foiling is seen on logos, borders, or repeated background patterns, enhancing the overall visual impact of your packaging.

Our hot foiling is available in a range of colours, from classic metallics to vibrant hues, allowing you to customise your packaging to perfectly reflect your brand identity.

Customisation Options

At Harkwell, we understand the importance of customisation. That’s why we offer a wide range of customisation options to suit your brand and product’s needs. From choosing between matt or glossy finishes to selecting unique foil patterns or textures, and even incorporating special effects like holographic or iridescent foil, we can give you the flexibility to create a design that reflects your brand’s personality and style.

How does hot foiling work?

After your initial label design is printed, we apply a layer of spot gloss to the desired areas for foiling. Whether it’s a single spot to enhance your logo or multiple areas to draw attention to specific sections, our process ensures flawless results every time.
